Get Involved - Welcome to Student Organizations
Student Organization Round Table (SORT) An opportunity to express your wants, needs, concerns, exchange ideas, collaborate - help make your organization bigger, better stronger. There will be three opportunities to attend SORT this semester. You and other members of your organization can attend any or all of them. There will be an overarching topic, but the discussion will be yours to direct.
Student Organization Officer Training These trainings are not mandatory, however organizations that attend these trainings have the opportunity to earn development funding - up to $50. Details about how organizations can earn development funds are available from Denise Carl as well as at each of the trainings.

Spring Semester Funding Training Meeting Dates The organization's treasurer/financial officer must attend this meeting before the club is able to apply for reimbursement and attend a hearing.
Spring Semester Funding Hearing Dates ** The sign up sheet will be placed outside the room at 4:00 p.m. (clubs sign up for 7-minute slots beginning at 5:30pm)**

STUDENT ORGS! USE THE ASUI POSTER PRINTER! Our new Poster printer (located in the ASUI Student Org Center, Commons 302) is available for student organization use. It prints out full-color posters up to 24"x36" from a Photoshop-compatible file. There is a fee of $5 (black/white) or $10 (color) per 24"x36" print for student organizations. Payments must be in cash and made prior to printing. Due to revisions of both university wide ITS policies and Division of Student Affairs policies, we will no longer be hosting emails and webpages on the Stuorgs server. If your organization had an email address ending in “@stuorgs.uidaho.edu,” it is no longer operational. If your organization had a website beginning with “http://stuorgs” it will cease to be supported after January, 1, 2009. You may continue to access your files stored on the stuorgs server until that date. For assistance with this process, please email icsu-technicians@uidaho.edu. Options for establishing a new email: 1. Have your faculty or staff advisor sponsor a club account with an “@uidaho.edu” address. This can be done at ITS. 2. Use one of the many free email services available on the web (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.) 1. Have your faculty or staff advisor obtain server space for a club website through ITS. 2. Utilize a group function on a social networking website such as Facebook or Yahoo! Groups. 3. Use a free weblog service such as wordpress.com or blogger.com 4. Utilize a low-cost web hosting service such as l4rge.com or x10hosting.com, among many others.
