For the week of May 26!

Tuesday, May 27 - Moscow Co-op Growers Market, 4- 6:30 PM.  Please send me an e-mail if you can table for an hour or so.

Wednesday, May 28 - Soil Stewards are having a sale at the UI 6th St. Greenhouse, again selling some extra tomato starts. The sale is from 3-6 PM, please send me an e-mail if you can table for an hour or so. lydiaclayton@vandals.uidaho.edu

Thursday, May 29 - At the farm, 4 – 8 PM, we will be weeding the potatoes, trellising the hoop house tomatoes, planting sweet potatoes, and setting-up the trellis system for our outdoor tomatoes.  We will also be seeding corn, lettuce mix, radishes, carrots, and sunflowers.  The farm is in full swing these days, so come out, check it out, and help out.

Friday, May 30 - I’ll be at the farm from 4-7 PM if anyone who can’t make the above times would like to do a little gardening, or even if you do come to the above times, you’re still welcome to come out.

Saturday, May 31 - 8 AM – 12, work party at the farm.  We’ll be finishing-up the above tasks.  I’ll bring coffee….and maybe some treats.

Where is the greenhouse?
The Greenhouse is on 6th St, just past the Wallace Complex and across the street from the Hartung Theater.

Where is the farm?
Right now we farm about 1/4 of an acre at the Parker Research Farm, about a mile east of town on the Troy Highway.  We grow our organic veggies alongside research projects in mustard and canola, direct seeded wheat, urban forestry and much more!
