I have 3
passions:
-
Loving
God with everything in me.
-
Understanding and applying God's Word to every area of my
life.
-
Helping
college students to love God with everything in them and apply His
Word.
It is in the
midst of doing the above that I feel the most alive.

Jason Kelly - U of I Chi Alpha Pastor
jasonhkelly@hotmail.com
I'm
a 29 year old from Seattle, Washington who met Jesus in 1996 as a
college student at Western Washington University. My former passion to
forge a career as a political cartoonist soon was eclipsed with a
passion to know God and to make Him known.
After
graduating in 1998, I did overseas missions with Youth With A Mission
(YWAM) in Northern Ireland and Uganda. I then did 2 years of campus
ministry training with Chi Alpha at WWU and went to the U of I in the
fall of 2000 as a campus pastor to direct Chi Alpha full time.
I am married to Kara Kelly; we have a dog
named Tozer (after my favorite author).

Favorite Quote:
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you
come alive and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who
have come alive."
-Gil Baillic
Favorite Verse: "I consider everything a loss
compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord,
for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I
may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my
own that comes from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ-
the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith."
