Mission Statement

SWE was created to support the National goals of stimulating women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders. SWE is open to all students who are interested in improving their leadership, communication, networking and management skills.

Upcoming Meetings

We will have a meeting on Thursday April 5th @5:30 in JEB 128. We will be holding elections for next year's officers (2007-2008).

Taking on leadership positions in student organizations are a great way to demonstrate leadership skills to potential future employers, and provide huge opportunties for personal growth, travel, and lasting friendships.  Even if you do not wish to run for an official positions there are plenty of other minor positions for people who are interested.  If you are not interested in running for any positions we encourage you to come and vote for SWE's 2007-2008 leadership.  The open positions are listed below:

Upcoming Activities

Outreach event
When: Saturday April 14th 2007 (Morning till noon)
Where: East of Couer dA'lene
We are looking for volunteers to help students in grades k-5 work on scientific and engineering projects during their science fair. Because the event takes place east of Couer dA'lene, we plan on having some fun in Spokane and Couer dA'lene that afternoon!
