CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers are still needed for the upcoming NWCCC Conference Championships being hosted by UI and WSU on April 25th and 26th. The success of this event is dependent upon acquiring enough volunteers to handle all of the tasks required. We were very successful in hosting this event last year and the club's reputation is very much tied to making this a success. Please ask your friends/family if they would be willing to help us with this event. If you are not racing and will be available, your help is greatly appreciated. Volunteers will be trained in their role prior to the event and the day of. Previous experience is not required.

Please contact John Bausch johnbausch@vandals.uidaho.edu for more information if you or someone you know would like to volunteer. Thank You!

IMPORTANT: The club will be submitting it's Clif Bar order on March 7th. If you would like to order some Clif Bars, Shots, Shot Bloks, Luna Bars, or the drink mixes, please bring payment to the March 6th club meeting. If you have questions about prices, please contact Adam Cadez-Schmidt. The order is somewhat limited on quantities of certain items so getting your order in early helps guarantee you will get what you want. You can place your order with Adam prior to the meeting but, the drop-dead date is March 6th. If you don't get your order in now, the next order isn't until Fall.

The Banana Belt Race Series starts this weekend. Riders that will be going need to contact Adam Cadez-Schmidt before Wednesday, February 27th. This will help with figuring out the number of vehicles needed to get everyone there. If you are driving, you need to stop by the office in the SRC to fill out driver information and sign the liability waiver. Click the link below for the race flyer:

IMPORTANT: If you plan on competing in the upcoming collegiate road racing season, you need to purchase/renew your USA Cycling collegiate license by March 12th. This will greatly simplify the registration process. A collegiate license is $30. However if you plan on racing after the collegiate season, it is beneficial to purchase a regular annual license for $60 as the collegiate license is included for "free". If you wait until later to add on the regular annual license for $30, there is an additional $15 fee for sending you a new license. You can purchase/renew your collegiate license by clicking on the link below:

If you're looking for a way to cut through the boredom of riding the trainer or rollers, check out Cycling.tv. They have highlights of various races from around theworld and a lot of other content for free. If you simply must have live coverage, they have packages that you can pay for too. A bit of advice... make sure your computer is connected via an ethernet cable instead of wirelessly for best performance.
